At Montessori Early Years Learning and Care Centre we have created a unique environment for your child to learn and grow. Their natural curiosity will be nurtured everyday by our passionate and enthusiastic Educators, guided by a Trained Montessori Directress and incorporating the principles of the Montessori Philosophy created by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activities, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In our classrooms, children make creative choices in their learning, with the classroom and the teacher offering age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually, to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop to their full potential. Your child will gain increasing independence and develop social skills that they will use throughout their lifetime. We believe that children learn through purposeful play opportunities, and all our educational activities promote your child’s physical, emotional and cognitive development.
